Lake Forest Park for Justice will host a protest on Labor Day, September 1, 2025, from 11:30 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. at the intersection of Bothell Way NE and Ballinger Way NE.

This event aligns with a nationwide movement against the prioritization of billionaires over workers and democracy. Participants are invited to donate essential school supplies for local students, including backpacks and writing materials. The protest highlights concerns about President Trump’s economic policies, particularly the impact of tariffs on small businesses. Local business owners report significant financial strains, with one mentioning a $700 tariff. Protest organizers emphasize the need to address Trump's anti-worker record, which includes restrictions on overtime pay and union rights.

The gathering aims to foster solidarity and advocate for workers' rights while supporting community education initiatives. Drummers are also welcome to join the demonstration, enhancing the event's spirit.
