Shoreline Cooperative Preschool has nurtured children and supported families for over 60 years, focusing on play-based learning and parent education. Their affordable, part-time programs cater to children from 18 months to 5 years, fostering a collaborative environment where families help in the classroom. Former parent and board member Senator Patty Murray highlights the preschool's strong ties to the Shoreline community. The preschool also collaborates with Shoreline Community College, offering parenting support and early childhood development resources.

The annual Harvest Carnival on November 8 will welcome the community for a day of fun activities. Additionally, the preschool values nature, providing outdoor learning experiences and connecting with local Coast Salish tribes. This holistic approach helps children process emotions and transitions through imaginative play, emphasizing their natural learning capabilities.
