Kelly Brown leaves her position as Executive Director of North Helpline after an impactful 11-year tenure marked by significant achievements. She successfully expanded the organization’s staff and budget, opened the Bitter Lake site, and addressed record demand for services during recent years. In her farewell remarks, Brown highlighted her pride in the team's accomplishments, including enhanced access to food and housing support. The Board of Directors is now focused on recruiting a new Executive Director to guide the organization forward. An interim Executive Director has been appointed to oversee daily operations and ensure continued high-quality service delivery.

The search for a permanent successor will take place over the next few months, aiming for a hire by late 2025. Brown expressed deep gratitude for the collaborative efforts of board members, staff, volunteers, and community partners. Her leadership has created a compassionate and resilient environment that directly benefits local residents.
