Goodwill hosting a Halloween Costume Donation Drive over Labor Day weekend

Shoreline, WALocal News

Evergreen Goodwill invites the community to participate in a Halloween Costume Donation Drive during Labor Day weekend, scheduled for August 30 to September 1, 2025. All donation locations will accept gently used Halloween costumes and decorations, allowing residents to declutter while supporting sustainability. This initiative aims to give costumes a second life, enhancing the impact of Halloween celebrations. The Shoreline Goodwill location at 14500 15th Ave NE will be one of the participating sites. By donating, community members can contribute to a more sustainable Halloween, reflecting a growing emphasis on environmental responsibility.

Last year, similar drives resulted in a significant increase in donations, showcasing community engagement. This effort aligns with broader trends of reducing waste and promoting reuse in holiday celebrations. Goodwill's initiative not only supports local families but also fosters a culture of sharing and sustainability.
