The 2025 North City Jazz Walk, scheduled for August 12 from 6 to 10:30 PM, features seven bands performing free outdoor sets starting at 6:30 PM. Street closures will occur at 11 PM to accommodate the event. Indoor venues, which require a $25 wristband for entry, will host four sets beginning at 7 PM. Grammy-winning trumpeter Tracey Hooker leads the Tacoma-based quartet Hook Me Up, while award-winning singer Elnah Jordan offers a blend of jazz, blues, and gospel. Other performers include the Stacy Jones Band and Birch Pereira & the Gin Joints, known for their homage to early rock 'n' roll.

Local businesses will sell wristbands, fostering community engagement and support for the artists. The event highlights a rich variety of jazz styles, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. The North City Jazz Walk serves as an important cultural celebration, showcasing local talent and attracting music lovers from the region.
