King County Citizens Elections Oversight Committee Seeking New Members

The King County Citizens’ Elections Oversight Committee (CEOC) is actively seeking new members to enhance its independent oversight of election-related policies. The CEOC, which comprises 16 members with expertise in elections, evaluates procedures and submits annual reports to the King County Council. Currently, the committee is recruiting for a representative from the Spanish-speaking community, a representative of registered King County voters, and a representative from the Vietnamese-speaking community. The terms for these positions vary, with some ending as late as September 2028. Members typically meet about five times a year to discuss policies and procedures.

Interested individuals must apply by August 13, 2025, to be considered for these roles. This recruitment aims to ensure diverse community representation in election oversight. For more information, applicants can visit the CEOC’s official website.
