Early Friday morning, more than 40 firefighters responded to a significant house fire near Lake Ballinger in Edmonds, arriving just after 4 a. m. The response was upgraded to two alarms due to the fire's size and layout, resulting in over an hour of firefighting efforts. Flames destroyed the garage and severely damaged the main house and two vehicles parked on the property. Fortunately, there were no injuries as no one was inside the home at the time of the fire.

The cause remains under investigation, and local officials appreciate the assistance from the Shoreline Fire Department. Community members expressed gratitude for the quick and effective response of the emergency services. The incident underscores the importance of fire safety and preparedness in residential areas.
