Shoreline Pool Facility Exploration You can inform the facility design

Shoreline, WALocal News

Shoreline officials plan to place a ballot measure in 2026 for a public indoor pool facility, seeking community input throughout the design process. A contracted design team has initiated preliminary work, with a geotechnical analysis and concept plans in progress, and a schematic design expected by February 2026. Residents can apply to join the Pool Advisory Committee, which will consist of 14 to 16 members and meet eight times from September 2025 to February 2026 to recommend design features. Members will receive a $50 stipend for their participation. The city will also gather public input during summer events and a November open house, where residents can review and comment on the pool's concept design.

Priorities for the facility may include features such as lap swimming, accessible entry, and party rooms. The city emphasizes the importance of diverse community representation in the committee and the design process. Feedback gathered will shape the final proposal for the facility.
