Edmonds Driftwood Players announces 2025 Scholarship winners

The Edmonds Driftwood Players announced $1,000 scholarships for Lucas Harrison, Khaysia Lutfi, and Aidan Cavanaugh, recognizing their significant contributions to the performing arts. Harrison, a graduate of Woodinville High School, developed a passion for technical theatre and will study Theatre Arts at Western Washington University. Lutfi, a graduate of John F. Kennedy Catholic High School, is committed to representation in the arts and will attend Hofstra University to pursue Theatre Arts and Marketing. Cavanaugh, from Edmonds-Woodway High School, has participated in over twenty musical theatre productions and will study musical theatre arts and pre-veterinary science at Western Washington University.

Each scholarship commemorates the legacy of dedicated individuals within the theatre community, such as Ralph Eaton and AC Gehrig. The awards aim to foster future talent and support young artists in their educational journeys. The Edmonds Driftwood Players has provided entertainment and education to the community since 1958, making it a vital cultural institution. This year’s recipients exemplify the spirit of creativity and commitment to the arts.
