Help Us Collect 200 Backpacks for Shoreline Students in Need

BECU Ballinger and DestinationShoreline. com are spearheading a Backpack Drive until August 16, 2025, targeting large, neutral-colored backpacks for Shoreline students, especially teens. Donations can be made at BECU Ballinger, located at 20011 Ballinger Way NE, during the hours of Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM. This initiative supports the Shoreline Schools Foundation, which plays a crucial role in providing educational resources to local students. The community-driven effort aims to collect at least 200 backpacks, highlighting the importance of supporting students in need.

An Open House event on August 15, 2025, will offer school supplies and snacks to further engage the community. This program not only addresses the necessity for school supplies but also fosters local involvement in education. The Backpack Drive reflects a growing commitment to ensuring that every student is prepared for the school year. Local businesses and residents are encouraged to contribute to make a tangible difference in students' lives.
