The disruptions began at 8:10 PM, primarily impacting areas between Puget Sound and Aurora. Restoration is anticipated by 3:40 AM, as crews work to address the situation caused by a vault fire. To ensure safety, officials took additional feeders offline to access the affected equipment safely. Initially, around 21,000 customers experienced outages, reflecting the significant impact of the incident.

Local authorities remind residents to treat dark intersections as 4-way stops in light of the power loss. Outages like this can strain local emergency services, highlighting the importance of infrastructure reliability.
