Energize Shoreline to offer free workshops on installing heat pumps

Energize Shoreline will host free workshops this summer to educate residents about the benefits of energy-efficient heat pumps. These systems can heat, cool, filter, and dehumidify homes, offering significant savings on energy costs. Workshop participants can access a $2,500 discount on qualifying heat pump installations, available on a first-come, first-served basis. The workshops will occur in-person at Shoreline City Hall and online via Zoom, with registration required for virtual attendance. The first workshop is set for July 23, featuring a vendor fair with local installers.

Attendees will learn about connecting with qualified professionals and exploring available rebates and financing options. Energize Shoreline aims to make upgrading to heat pumps more accessible and affordable for residents. The program also offers ongoing support from trusted local contractors.
