AGs Office wins 8.2M in penalties and consumer restitution in trial against repeat scammer

A Michigan-based scammer must pay over $8. 2 million in penalties and restitution for deceiving businesses in Washington. King County Superior Court Judge Maureen McKee imposed a $7. 4 million penalty against Labor Law Poster Service and its principals, alongside $850,000 in consumer restitution. The Attorney General’s Office will also receive interest on the restitution and attorney fees, emphasizing the financial repercussions for fraudulent activities.
