Sunday sign-wavers not daunted by blazing sun

Shoreline, WALocal News

Fifty activists protested against President Trump’s policies on Sunday at the Shoreline-Edmonds line in Washington. The gathering, part of the "Social Justice Sundays" series organized by Everyday Activists, aimed to raise awareness of what attendees see as undemocratic actions. Participants carried signs and flags while encouraging passing vehicles to join their movement. These weekly events occur every Sunday in July from 1-2 PM at the intersection of Aurora Ave N and N 205th St. The next sign-waving is scheduled for July 20, 2025.

A special event, "Good Trouble Lives On," will take place on July 17, 2025, from 4:30-6 PM at the Park at Town Center, honoring Congressman John Lewis. Donations of food and toiletries will be collected at all events for local organizations. These initiatives reflect ongoing community efforts to address social justice and support those in need.
