Canopy Cat Rescue retrieves LFP kitty from cedar tree

Shoreline, WALocal News

Canopy Cat Rescue retrieved Zappa, a black cat, from a cedar tree in Lake Forest Park, where he was stranded 25 feet above the ground. Founded in 2009 by Shaun and Tom, the organization addresses the challenges faced by cat owners when their pets become trapped in trees. They typically handle rescues from heights of up to 85 feet, showcasing their expertise in arborist techniques. Operating on a donation basis, they have expanded their services to cover the entire state. Shaun emphasized the emotional distress that comes when a cat goes missing, underscoring the significance of their mission.

When not rescuing cats, the team performs professional arborist work, ensuring they are well-trained for the task. People in need of their services can contact them directly at 1-(877)-721-MEOW x1. Donations are welcome to support their lifesaving efforts for stranded cats.
