60 demonstrators at Sunday sign-waving at Shoreline-Edmonds border

More than 60 people gathered on Sunday at the Shoreline-Edmonds border to advocate for truth, justice, and fairness. Organized by Everyday Activists, the demonstration took place at the busy intersection of Aurora Ave N & N 205th St, where participants received honking support from passing vehicles. The group plans to hold sign-waving events every Sunday throughout July, promoting the theme "United, we stand. Divided, we fall. " A special rally, "Good Trouble Lives On," is scheduled for July 17, 2025, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of civil rights leader John Lewis's death.

This rally, sponsored by Indivisible Shoreline WA and Everyday Activists, aims to mobilize community action and honor Lewis's legacy of civic engagement. Donations of non-perishable food and toiletries for Hopelink will be accepted at all events, emphasizing community support.
