Communi-trees A Free Tree for You, a Greener Shoreline for All

Shoreline, WALocal News

Shoreline residents can apply for a free tree through the Communi-trees program starting July 15. Participants will receive a tree, watering bag, and mulch, along with training for planting and care. The program also offers personalized site visits for tree selection and planting assistance based on volunteer availability. Applications close on August 31, and residents are encouraged to apply early since supplies are limited. This initiative aims to enhance the local environment by promoting tree planting and care within the community.

Trees contribute to cleaner air and water, provide shade, and beautify neighborhoods. The Communi-trees program reflects a growing commitment to environmental sustainability in Shoreline. Interested residents can visit ShorelineWA. gov/Communitrees for more information and to schedule site visits.
