Make a Super Sock Puppet and Tabletop Stage July 7, 2025 at the Richmond Beach Library

Shoreline, WALocal News

Richmond Beach Library will host a puppet-making workshop on July 7, 2025, for children aged six and older, where they will create a sock puppet and a cardboard stage. Puppeteer Cheryl Hadley will lead the session, providing all tools and materials for participants. The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Richmond Beach Library, is fully booked, but a waitlist is available for those who wish to attend. Adults accompanying children do not need to register separately. Spots that remain unfilled will be given away to individuals waiting ten minutes after the event begins.

This initiative encourages creativity and hands-on learning for young participants. Puppet-making fosters artistic expression and can enhance fine motor skills in children. Local libraries like Richmond Beach Library often provide community-driven events that promote cultural and educational engagement.
