Dozens of animals are receiving care after being rescued from Clallam County farm

Clallam County deputies intervened on a small farm after receiving a tip about potential animal cruelty, leading to the rescue of numerous malnourished animals. A concerned citizen reported a dead sheep and unhealthy conditions for the remaining livestock. Upon inspection, several emaciated sheep were found in critical need of care. With a search warrant, law enforcement discovered three dead sheep and additional deceased chickens, highlighting severe neglect. The farm owner voluntarily surrendered 32 sheep, two goats, and two chickens, all of which are now under medical care.

The investigation into the alleged animal cruelty is ongoing. Community members are urged to contribute to the veterinary care costs through donations to Center Valley Animal Rescue, emphasizing the importance of vigilance in animal welfare.
