Filtration Neighbor Update - Aug. 15, 2025

Portland, ORLocal News

The Bull Run Treatment Project construction will lead to significant traffic impacts with full road closures at the Altman Road and Pipeline Road intersection until August 19. Signed detours will redirect local and through traffic to Oxbow Drive or Lusted Road while ensuring emergency access is maintained. Furthermore, from August 16 and August 20 through mid-October, sections of Altman Road will close Monday through Saturday during work hours, allowing one-way northbound traffic outside of those hours. Flagged two-way traffic will be implemented on Dodge Park Boulevard through October to accommodate the installation of a new water pipeline. Residents should proceed with caution on Cottrell Road due to an uneven surface, with plans for repaving scheduled for mid-September.

School buses and emergency vehicles will be allowed through flagged areas as needed, ensuring continued access for essential services. This construction is part of a larger initiative to enhance local water infrastructure and improve overall service reliability. Timely updates regarding the construction activities will be provided to keep the community informed.
