Hop in the driver's seat at Touch-A-Truck Sept. 14

The City of Marysville is excited to announce its annual Touch-A-Truck event scheduled for September 14, 2024, at Asbery Field from 10 a. m. to 1 p. m. This popular event is free for families and provides an opportunity for children to engage with a variety of vehicles, including heavy-duty rigs like dump trucks and fire engines.

From 10 a. m. to noon, the sounds of horns and sirens will fill the air, with a designated quiet hour from noon to 1 p. m. A new highlight this year is a staff skills competition, where the Marysville Public Works team will demonstrate their expertise with challenging tasks.

Attendees can enjoy food concessions provided by the Marysville Sunrise Rotary while contributing to the community by donating to the Marysville Community Food Bank. The event encourages a hands-on experience for children of all ages, reinforcing community engagement and support. Pets are kindly requested to be left at home to ensure safety for all participants.
