The City of Marysville has published a Notice of Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance (MDNS) for the Steven’s Ridge Planned Residential Development, which plans to build 60 new residential units. The Community Development Department has assessed the project and determined that it will not have significant adverse environmental impacts, thereby eliminating the requirement for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). The public is encouraged to participate in the decision-making process by submitting written comments during a 14-day comment period that concludes on June 12, 2024. Should any stakeholders wish to contest this determination, they must file an appeal by the same date, accompanied by a $500 fee.
