The City of Marysville is inviting public participation in reviewing its draft Hazard Mitigation Plan, designed to reduce the impacts of disasters on the community. The plan focuses on four main goals: improving safety, strengthening critical infrastructure, enhancing preparedness, and aligning priorities among stakeholders. Developed by the Emergency Management division with public input, the plan identifies local hazards and proposes specific actions for the next five years. Residents can access the draft plan and submit comments until December 3 via the city’s website. The plan aims to enhance community resilience and reduce disaster-related threats to life and property.
