Marysville will host Trick or Treat Down Delta on October 24, from 2 to 4 p. m. at 501 Delta Ave. , just west of Comeford Park. This free event invites families to enjoy Halloween festivities, including over 30 treat stations and haunted displays, while meeting local city staff, police officers, and firefighters.

New this year, performers from MPAC dance studio will kick off the event with a “Thriller” performance at 2:15 p. m. in the Delta Avenue Plaza. The city requests attendees to leave pets at home to ensure a safe experience for all. This initiative is made possible through generous contributions from local businesses such as AT&T and Renewal by Anderson.

Additionally, grant applications are currently open for Community Development Block Grant funds aimed at supporting homelessness and low-income services in Marysville. Applications for these funds must be submitted by November 28, with an estimated $406,499 available for public facilities and $60,969 for public services in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
