Marysville, WALocal News

Families can look forward to Trick or Treat Down Delta, a free Halloween celebration on October 24 from 2 to 4 p. m. at 501 Delta Ave. , just west of Comeford Park. The event features over 30 treat stations where trick-or-treaters of all ages can collect candy, enjoy haunted displays, and meet local city staff, police, and firefighters.

This year’s highlight includes a performance of “Thriller” by MPAC dance studio at 2:15 p. m. in the Delta Avenue Plaza. The city emphasizes community spirit and safety, advising attendees to leave pets at home for the day. Generous support from local businesses like AT&T and Chiro One Wellness Centers has made this event possible.

Additionally, the City of Marysville has opened applications for Community Development Block Grant funds aimed at improving public services and facilities for homeless and low- to moderate-income residents. Applications for these grants must be submitted by November 28. For more information about the Halloween event or grant applications, visit the city’s website or contact the Parks, Culture and Recreation Office.
