Grant applications open for public facilities services

The City of Marysville has opened applications for Community Development Block Grant funds to address homelessness and support low- and moderate-income residents. The funding includes approximately $406,499 annually for public facilities and infrastructure, which may involve public improvements and permanent housing solutions. Additionally, $60,969 is available each fiscal year for public services that encompass various needs, including health services and childcare. Eligible applicants consist of non-profit organizations, faith-based groups, public agencies, and authorized for-profit entities. All proposed activities must align with the city’s 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan.

Marysville aims to enhance community support and infrastructure through these grants. The application deadline is November 28. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to addressing pressing social issues and improving overall community well-being.
