Fall into fun in Marysville

Marysville Opera House is set to host an exciting lineup of events this fall, starting with The Power Players performing music from the ‘60s to ‘80s on November 7 at 7 p. m. Following that, the venue will present the Elvis Holiday Show featuring Danny Vernon on December 7 at 2 p. m. The comedy scene will be highlighted on November 15 with the Ladies LOL Comedy Show, headlined by Mary Lou Gamba, with performances scheduled for 4 p.

m. and 7:30 p. m. Community gatherings are also planned, including family bingo nights and a Dia de Muertos celebration on November 2. Other local venues, such as the Marysville Community Center and Comeford Park, will host additional festivities, including a Senior Lunch & Dance on December 18.

These events are designed to bring residents together and enhance local cultural offerings. The emphasis on diverse programming reflects Marysville's commitment to community engagement.

The City of Marysville has opened applications for Community Development Block Grant funds for 2026 and 2027, focusing on projects that aid homelessness and low-income residents. Funding includes approximately $406,499 for public facilities and $60,969 for public services each fiscal year. Applications are due by November 28.
