67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE will commence on August 12, targeting improvements between Grove Street and 88th Street. The city has contracted Bayshore Construction to replace pedestrian ADA ramps, repair streets, and overlay the roadway with new pavement. The initial phase will involve a full closure of the southbound lane for ramp demolition, while one lane in each direction remains open. Access for neighborhoods on the west side will continue, with pedestrian access maintained throughout the construction. In mid-September, grinding will take place in the center and northbound lanes, leading to the closure of the northbound lane for further work.

Paving is scheduled for the first week of October, lasting 2-3 days, with no night work planned. This project aims to enhance accessibility and safety for pedestrians and drivers alike. Completion is expected by late October, minimizing disruption to local traffic.
