The 2025 Marysville Business Awards honored three businesses for their contributions to the community during a ceremony at the Marysville Business Summit on April 29. The Historic Business Award went to the Marysville Skate Center, a local skating rink in operation since 1959, recognized for its role in providing a fun and active space for children. Michael Louis, the current owner, has revitalized the rink and hosts numerous community events, making it a hub for youth engagement. The Obstacle Overcomer Award was awarded to 5 Rights Brewing, which expanded its operations from a garage to a 5,000 square foot facility despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. They also contribute to local charities and events, enhancing community ties.

The Community Champion Award went to I Know CPR, whose founder Randy has trained many locals in lifesaving techniques, saving lives and enhancing job prospects. Nominations highlighted Randy's commitment to training various community groups, including high school students and low-income families. These awards reflect the spirit of local businesses committed to enriching the lives of residents in Marysville.
