Voluntary water conservation notice

The City of Marysville has announced a call for voluntary water conservation from its customers on August 27 and 28 due to a temporary shutdown of a primary water supply source. This shutdown will begin at 8:30 p. m. on August 27 and is anticipated to conclude by 8:00 a. m.

on August 28. To support this effort, residents are encouraged to turn off irrigation systems, limit shower times, and use water only for essential health and safety needs. The city warns that fluctuations in water pressure may occur as adjustments are made to the distribution system. Adequate water levels in storage tanks are necessary both before and after the shutdown to prevent service disruptions. This initiative highlights the city's commitment to maintaining its water infrastructure while ensuring that residents have access to water.
