City hires Utilities Maintenance Svcs Director

Jim Kaylor will become the first Director of Utilities & Maintenance Services for the City of Marysville, effective after the Labor Day holiday. In this position, he will oversee critical divisions including water, stormwater, surface water, solid waste, and maintenance services. Kaylor brings extensive experience from his previous roles in local government utilities, notably in Cave Creek, AZ, and Glendale, AZ. "I am impressed with the journey and leadership the City of Marysville has exhibited to arrive at 2025," Kaylor remarked, indicating his eagerness to be part of the city's future. He holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Health from Arizona State University, which complements his professional background.

Kaylor's appointment reflects the city’s commitment to enhancing public utility and maintenance services. His leadership is anticipated to positively impact local infrastructure and sustainability efforts. The City of Marysville aims to meet its strategic goals by 2025, with Kaylor playing a pivotal role in this initiative.
