67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville will begin on August 12, with Bayshore Construction tasked with improving the roadway between Grove Street and 88th Street. The project involves replacing pedestrian ADA ramps, repairing streets, and overlaying the roadway with new pavement. The initial phase includes a full closure of the southbound lane for ADA ramp demolition and construction, while one lane will remain open in both directions. Residents can expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Mid-September will bring additional lane closures for grinding and pavement repairs on the northbound lane, alongside ADA work on 88th Street NE.

Paving is scheduled for the first week of October, anticipated to take 2-3 days. The city aims to complete the entire project by late October, ensuring continued pedestrian access throughout the construction period. This infrastructure improvement is vital for enhancing accessibility and roadway safety in the area.
