67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE commences August 12, led by Bayshore Construction to enhance the roadway between Grove Street and 88th Street. The project includes the replacement of pedestrian ADA ramps, extensive street repairs, and a complete grind and overlay of the existing pavement. Initially, the southbound lane will close for ADA ramp demolition, while one lane will remain open in each direction to manage traffic flow. In mid-September, grinding will occur in the center and northbound lanes, necessitating further closures for ramp construction. Paving is scheduled for the first week of October and will last 2-3 days, with no night work planned.

The city advises residents to expect delays and to use alternate routes when possible. Throughout the construction, pedestrian access will remain open, ensuring safety for foot traffic. The project is set for completion by late October, aiming to improve accessibility and roadway conditions in the area.
