67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE begins on August 12, affecting traffic between Grove Street and 88th Street in Marysville. The city’s contractor, Bayshore Construction, will replace ADA ramps, repair streets, and apply new pavement across the full roadway. During the first phase, the southbound lane will close for ramp demolition, but one lane will remain open in both directions, ensuring access for neighborhoods on the west side. Pedestrians will have continuous access throughout the duration of the project. Grinding will occur in mid-September, closing the northbound lane as ADA ramp work continues on the west side of 88th Street.

Paving is slated for the first week of October, expected to take 2-3 days without night work. The project aims to improve accessibility and safety for residents. Completion is anticipated by late October, prompting residents to plan for delays and alternate routes.
