67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE begins August 12, as Bayshore Construction undertakes improvements including ADA ramp replacements and pavement repairs. The southbound lane will be fully closed during the initial phase, while one lane remains open in each direction, ensuring access for neighborhoods on the west side. In mid-September, crews will grind the center and northbound lanes, necessitating the closure of the northbound lane and ongoing ADA ramp work on 88th Street NE. Paving is planned for the first week of October, projected to take 2-3 days to complete. This project aims to enhance pedestrian accessibility and improve overall roadway conditions for the community.

Residents should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes throughout the construction duration. The project is expected to conclude by late October. Maintaining pedestrian access is a priority during the roadwork.
