67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville begins Tuesday, Aug. 12, with Bayshore Construction managing the improvements. The project will replace pedestrian ADA ramps, repair the street, and overlay the roadway with new pavement. The first phase will fully close the southbound lane for ADA ramp demolition and construction while keeping one lane open in each direction. Residents in neighborhoods on the west side will retain access, but through traffic should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes.

In mid-September, work will transition to the northbound lane, with additional ADA ramp construction on the west side of 88th Street NE. Paving is set for the first week of October and should take 2-3 days to complete. No night work is planned throughout the project. The city anticipates finishing the construction by late October, enhancing accessibility and roadway conditions for all users.
