67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville begins August 12, led by Bayshore Construction. The project entails replacing pedestrian ADA ramps, completing street repairs, and grinding and overlaying the full roadway. In the first phase, the southbound lane will close to facilitate ramp demolition and construction, while one lane will remain open in each direction. Neighborhood access will be maintained on the west side of 67th Avenue NE, but through traffic should expect delays and consider alternate routes. In mid-September, grinding will occur in the center and northbound lanes, necessitating the closure of the northbound lane.

This phase will also include ADA ramp work on the west side of 88th Street NE. Paving is slated for the first week of October, with a completion timeframe of 2-3 days. The entire project is expected to conclude by late October.
