67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville commences August 12, led by Bayshore Construction. The upgrades will replace pedestrian ADA ramps and repave the roadway, starting with a full closure of the southbound lane while keeping one lane open in each direction. This phase will focus on ADA ramp demolition and construction on the west side of 67th Avenue. In mid-September, the work will transition to the northbound lane, with pavement repairs continuing and one lane remaining open. Paving is slated for the first week of October, anticipated to last 2-3 days, with no night work planned.

The project aims to improve pedestrian accessibility and ensure road safety for residents. Local neighborhoods will maintain access throughout the construction, although through traffic should anticipate delays. Completion is expected by late October, contributing to community infrastructure improvements.
