67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Bayshore Construction will begin road improvements on 67th Avenue NE on August 12, focusing on replacing pedestrian ADA ramps and resurfacing the roadway. The first phase will involve a full closure of the southbound lane for ramp demolition and repairs, while maintaining one lane open in each direction. In mid-September, the northbound lane will close for grinding and additional ADA ramp construction along 88th Street NE. Paving is planned for the first week of October, expected to take 2-3 days, with no night work scheduled. Throughout the construction, pedestrian access will be preserved, and residents are advised to use alternate routes to mitigate traffic delays.

This project reflects the city's commitment to improving accessibility and roadway safety. Construction is expected to conclude by late October, enhancing the overall infrastructure in the neighborhood. The city encourages local residents to stay informed about the progress and any changes to traffic patterns.
