67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Marysville's construction on 67th Avenue NE begins August 12, focusing on improvements between Grove Street and 88th Street. The city’s contractor, Bayshore Construction, will replace pedestrian ADA ramps and conduct street repairs, including a full roadway overlay. The first phase involves closing the southbound lane for ramp demolition, with one lane maintained for traffic. Residents should anticipate delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes. Mid-September will see further lane closures for grinding and additional ADA ramp work.

Paving is scheduled for early October and should take 2-3 days to complete. No night work is planned, and pedestrian access will remain open throughout the project duration. The enhancements aim to improve accessibility for all residents, with completion expected by late October.
