67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE will commence on August 12, focusing on replacing pedestrian ADA ramps and repaving the roadway. Bayshore Construction will oversee the project, beginning with a full closure of the southbound lane while keeping one lane open in each direction. Access for residents on the west side will remain available, ensuring neighborhood connectivity during the work. In mid-September, the project will shift to the northbound lane for grinding and additional ADA ramp work, again allowing one lane open in each direction. Paving is set for the first week of October and is estimated to last 2-3 days; no night work is planned.

The city advises drivers to expect delays and use alternate routes when necessary. This construction effort aims to enhance pedestrian access and improve overall roadway conditions. The completion date is anticipated for late October, marking a significant upgrade for the area.
