67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville will commence on August 12, focusing on enhancements between Grove Street and 88th Street. The project, managed by Bayshore Construction, will replace pedestrian ADA ramps and grind and overlay the roadway with new pavement. The first phase will involve a full closure of the southbound lane, while one lane will remain open in each direction for local traffic. Residents on the west side will maintain access, but through traffic should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes. In mid-September, the center and northbound lanes will undergo grinding, with the northbound lane closed for further ADA ramp construction.

Paving is planned for the first week of October and is expected to take 2-3 days. The city aims to complete the entire construction project by late October, ensuring that pedestrian access remains open throughout. These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and accessibility in the community.
