67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE starts August 12, overseen by Bayshore Construction, focusing on pedestrian ADA ramp replacements and roadway improvements. The first phase will fully close the southbound lane for ramp demolition and repairs, while one lane remains open in each direction. Access for neighborhoods on the west side will be maintained, and pedestrian access will continue throughout the project. In mid-September, grinding will be conducted in the center and northbound lanes, requiring the northbound lane's closure. The project includes ADA ramp construction at 88th Street NE and additional pavement repairs.

Paving is slated for the first week of October, expected to take 2-3 days to finish. This initiative aims to improve accessibility and road safety for residents. Completion is anticipated by late October, minimizing disruption to the community.
