Officers are equipped with prepaid debit cards and training resources, having already allocated over $1,800 for immediate needs. Police Chief Erik Scairpon underscores the department's dedication to improving community safety and support. Officer Raye Liffrig notably used the program to secure hotel accommodations and essentials for a human trafficking victim, collaborating with the FBI. Officer Amanda Stewart also illustrated the program's impact by aiding a domestic violence victim and families affected by a rental scam.
