67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville will begin on August 12, led by Bayshore Construction. The project aims to enhance accessibility by replacing pedestrian ADA ramps and repairing the roadway. The first phase will see a full closure of the southbound lane while one lane in each direction remains open. In mid-September, grinding will take place in the center and northbound lanes, necessitating the closure of the northbound lane as well. Paving is planned for the first week of October and is expected to last 2-3 days.

Throughout the construction, pedestrian access will remain open, and one access point will be available for neighborhoods on the west side of 67th Avenue NE. Residents should prepare for delays and utilize alternate routes. The project is set for completion by late October, improving transportation infrastructure in the area.
