67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE starts August 12, with significant improvements planned for pedestrian accessibility and roadway conditions. Bayshore Construction will replace ADA ramps and grind and overlay the entire roadway with new pavement. The initial phase involves a full closure of the southbound lane, but one lane will remain open in each direction to maintain access for local neighborhoods. In mid-September, grinding will take place in the center and northbound lanes, resulting in additional lane closures. Paving is planned for the first week of October, anticipated to take 2-3 days.

Overall, the project aims to enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians. The construction is expected to be completed by late October, ensuring continued pedestrian access during the process. City officials advise through traffic to seek alternate routes due to potential delays.
