67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

The City of Marysville initiates roadwork on 67th Avenue NE starting August 12, managed by Bayshore Construction. This project involves replacing pedestrian ADA ramps and conducting necessary pavement repairs, leading to a full closure of the southbound lane initially. Despite these closures, one lane will remain open in each direction to facilitate neighborhood access on the west side. By mid-September, crews will grind the center and northbound lanes, closing the northbound lane for further ADA ramp work on 88th Street NE. Paving is anticipated in the first week of October, expected to take 2-3 days, without any night work planned.

The construction aims to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and motorists alike. Completion of the project is projected for late October, minimizing disruption to local traffic. Residents are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays during construction.
