67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville starts August 12, with Bayshore Construction overseeing improvements. The project involves replacing pedestrian ADA ramps, repairing the street, and grinding and overlaying the entire roadway. The initial phase will close the southbound lane while keeping one lane open in each direction, and access for neighborhoods on the west side will remain available. Pedestrian access will stay open throughout the construction. In mid-September, the focus will shift to grinding and ADA ramp work in the northbound lane near 88th Street NE.

Paving is planned for the first week of October, and the entire project is expected to wrap up by late October. The city advises residents to plan for delays and consider alternate routes during construction. These improvements aim to enhance pedestrian accessibility and roadway safety.
