67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE begins August 12, led by Bayshore Construction, focusing on ADA ramp replacements and roadway resurfacing. The first phase will see the southbound lane fully closed for ramp demolition and repairs, though one lane will remain open in both directions for local traffic. Residents should prepare for delays and consider alternate routes. Mid-September will bring further work, closing the northbound lane while repairs continue. Paving is planned for the first week of October, which should take 2-3 days to complete without night work.

This project is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to improve accessibility and road conditions for residents. The work will maintain pedestrian access throughout the construction period. Ultimately, the project is expected to wrap up by late October, enhancing neighborhood infrastructure.
