67th Avenue NE roadwork starts Aug. 12

Marysville, WALocal News

Construction on 67th Avenue NE in Marysville will commence on August 12, led by Bayshore Construction. This project focuses on replacing pedestrian ADA ramps, repairing the street, and overlaying the roadway with new pavement. The initial phase will close the southbound lane completely for ramp demolition and construction, while keeping one lane open in each direction. Access for neighborhoods on the west side will remain available, but drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes. In mid-September, work will shift to grinding in the center and northbound lanes, necessitating a closure of the northbound lane.

The project will also involve ADA ramp work on the west side of 88th Street NE. Paving is set for the first week of October, with a 2-3 day completion timeframe, and no night work is planned. The improvements aim to enhance road safety and accessibility, with the entire project expected to wrap up by late October 2025.
